As I parked my
car on 32nd Street to walk down to the school, I
looked over my shoulder and
saw Hanna's standing there so isolated and
lonely. It seemed to be wondering where all its old and dear friends had
gone ... how a once thriving and bustling downtown had metamorphosed into
cold, soulless parking lots ... like many old people wondering why it had
been spared when so many had been taken. Suddenly I felt the need to
capture the image before it, too,
was taken. |

Bad News!!!
The building I imaged
(at
3301 Washington Avenue)....
and believe is Hanna's ..... is being demolished.
I saw it today, as I was
headed south on Huntington Avenue.
I am so glad I took
that
shot when I did.
