Charles Edward Duke
HAYES -
Charles E. Duke, a native of Newport News, died at MCV Hospital, June 14, 2004.
Charles was the owner of Waterfront Development Corporation and the former owner
of Sea Tow. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and the Stump Hunters
Club in Gloucester. Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline W. Duke; two
daughters, Tina Duke Kehoe and Amber Leigh Duke; one son, Charles E. Duke II;
and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Funeral services and interment
will be private. In his memory, memorial contributions may be made to: Abingdon
Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Box 9, Bena, VA 23018.

Charles E. Duke Grief is the purest evidence that we have loved and loved well. With Friendship and Sympathy I think of you. I knew Charles in our childhood and while attending NNHS. I remember him as a very nice person who I am glad to have called a good friend. May you treasure your memories. I am so sorry for your loss. |
