"A frame church, located on 25th Street, was completed in 1889 and consecrated in 1894. In 1899, the original church building on 25th Street was moved, to the present 34th-Street location. The cornerstone of the present church building was laid in on All Saints’ Day, November 1, 1899, and the first service in the new building took place on Easter Day, April 5, 1900. When the new church was completed, the old frame church building was used as a parish house." |
